HOW TO DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE FROM A CD TO A LAPTOP THAT DOESN’T HAVE A CD ROM?

I poverty to download Microsoft Word from a CD to a laptop that has no CD Rom. I hit a screen with a CD Rom that also has the aforementioned software. Could I someways download the code to my screen and then to a moulding intend which I crapper append into my laptop and download it that way?
If so, gratify yield info on how to do this. Thanks.

Buy or borrow one.
Put on memory stick and install via it.

This doesn’t always work, but if both the computers are on the same network then you could access the CD-ROM drive of your desktop from your laptop. If that doesn’t work then download Microsoft Office 2007 from the Internet. There are some ways to get it free. They are illegal so just don’t blame me if you go to jail for it. If you want to, go to YouTube.com and search for download microsoft office 2007 for free.

Move the software onto a jump drive and then put it in the USB port.

Hello,
You would be able to accomplish this through Remote Desktop. First you would need to enable Remote Desktop on the laptop:
You will also need to login with a computer user with Remote Desktop access and enable Remote Desktop access on the Windows machine.
1. Open System by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.
2. Click Remote settings on the left.
3. In the System Properties dialog box, under Remote Desktop, select the one of the three options, and then click Select Users. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
If you are an administrator on the computer, your current user account will automatically be added to the list of remote users and you can skip the next two steps.
4. In the Remote Desktop Users dialog box, click Add.
5. In the Select Users or Groups dialog box, do the following:
• To specify the search location, click Locations, and then select the location you want to search.
• In Enter the object names to select, type the name of the user that you want to add, and then click OK.
The name will be displayed in the list of users in the Remote Desktop Users dialog box.
Note:You can’t connect to a computer that is sleeping or hibernating, so make sure the settings for sleep and hibernation on the remote computer are set to Never.
Next, you must map your drive(s) in your Remote Desktop settings on your computer with the CD ROM:
Open Remote Desktop, click options, and select the “local resources” tab. The bottom section is titled “local devices.” Here you can choose “disk drives” which will bring all of your drives, HD, CD, floppy, etc, to your Remote Desktop sessions.
Now, when your connected with Remote Desktop, all of your drives will be available via “My Computer” and you can simply drag and drop files and folders.
