There are a lot of free photo editing software programs out there that you can use to get good features. But the most popular free program that a lot of people use because it is really great and gives a lot of features like photoshop is GIMP.
GIMP is the most Widespread and what you should definitely opt for when going for a free program. You can create high quality projects just using this free program.
